ITNMontereyCounty’s mission is to help older adults live with dignity, independence, and connection. ITNMontereyCounty is a membership organization and welcomes anyone in the community to join to support this vital service. For people aged 65 and older, and people with visual impairments, affordable transportation services are a benefit of membership.
Research has shown that ITN membership helps people who limit or stop driving feel safe and provides a sense of belonging. ITNMontereyCounty strives to replace the comfort and convenience of private automobile ownership by providing the mobility people rely upon to live full and independent lives.

Members set up pre-paid accounts and receive monthly statements detailing rides and charges. Fares are calculated by adding a pick-up charge and a mileage charge.
