Marissa Rousso is an Operations Intelligence Analyst in the Air Force Reserve and works in Membership at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club. She brings a dynamic blend of strategic intelligence, operational leadership, and community-focused service to every endeavor she undertakes.
Marissa joined ITNMontereyCounty in 2024, drawn to its mission of providing safe and reliable transportation options to those in need. She quickly became an engaged member of the organization, utilizing her strong organizational and communication skills, as well as her passion for service.
Her professional background spans military intelligence, private sector operations, instructional leadership, and nonprofit engagement. She has served as an instructor for Intelligence Operations and Distributed Ground System (DGS) platforms at Goodfellow Air Force Base, where she trained the next generation of Air Force analysts. Earlier in her career, she worked in politics, construction project management, and private club admissions. Whether in uniform or civilian capacities, Marissa is known for her adaptability, mission focus, and dedication to excellence.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis, and an Associate of Applied Science in Military Intelligence Studies and Technology from Air University. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Space Operations at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, expanding her expertise into the space domain as she advances toward a professional trajectory at the intersection of space operations and national security.
Her skill set includes strategic communication, intelligence analysis, organizational development, event planning, data integration, and technical writing. Marissa is a member of the Northern California Golf Association and remains highly active in her community, volunteering as a guide at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and serving on nonprofit boards, including the 50th Intelligence Squadron Booster Club.
In her free time, she enjoys swimming, running, hiking, and playing golf. What she loves most about ITNMontereyCounty is its deep commitment to helping others and the incredible sense of community shared by its members and volunteers.
Kenneth Stewart Hunter

Kenneth Stewart Hunter was born in San Diego, California, in 1956. He began his academic journey, after serving in the US Navy as Anti-Submarine Warfare Operator in Guam from 1974-77, at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1981. Driven by a passion for medicine and service, he went on to earn his MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1985. He completed his internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News in 1986 and continued his medical education at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Florida, in 1987.
Dr. Hunter served as a U.S. Naval Flight Surgeon from 1986 to 1991, stationed at MCAS El Toro in California and later at Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach. In 1991, he shifted his focus to dermatology, completing his residency at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego and becoming a board-certified dermatologist in 1994. He continued his service as a Navy dermatologist at Balboa Naval Hospital and later at Guam Naval Hospital until 1996.
Transitioning to civilian life, Dr. Hunter opened a private dermatology practice in Norfolk, Virginia, where he served patients from 1997 to 2011. He then relocated his practice to Monterey, California, before a sudden loss of vision in January 2013 brought his distinguished medical career to an end.
Despite this life-changing event, Dr. Hunter’s resilience and spirit of service never wavered. He became an active member of ITN Monterey County in 2013, joining its Board of Directors in 2022. Prior to losing his vision, his interests included downhill skiing, tennis, golf, biking, and hiking. Today, he enjoys walking, riding the bus, traveling both domestically and internationally, listening to audio books, and advocating for the blind and visually impaired.
Deeply committed to community service, Dr. Hunter volunteers with The Carmel Foundation, The Blind and Visually Impaired Center of Monterey County, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. He is also a proud member of the Pacific Grove Rotary Club.
Dr. Hunter is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and continues to inspire others through his dedication, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to helping others.
Catherine (Cat) Mineo

Catherine (Cat) Mineo is an accomplished trademark and business transactional attorney, who has been involved with ITNMontereyCounty as a volunteer since 2020 and as Board member since 2021. Cat also received the Max and Helen Israelite ITN America Volunteer of the Year in 2022.
Cat holds a dual Bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law. Before attending law school, Cat worked as a paralegal for several years and is currently a Notary Public.
With KK Legal & Advisory Services, Inc., Cat counsels businesses on corporate structuring, regulatory licensing, commercial contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, real property transactions, and business escrows. She works closely with founders, management teams, and investors to draft and negotiate contracts that facilitate strategic expansions. Her practical, business-first approach to intellectual property and corporate matters allows clients to mitigate risk, strengthen their market position, and scale confidently.
Cat is a current member of the Monterey County Bar Association and Monterey County Women Lawyers Association.
Beyond her legal practice, Cat is deeply committed to community service. She serves as a Board Member for Legal Services for Seniors, an organization providing pro bono legal services to residents of Monterey County. Additionally, Cat supports youth experiencing homelessness through her work on the Grants Team for Youth Assistance Coalition, a nonprofit based in San Diego. She also mentors aspiring attorneys through the Monterey College of Law First-Generation Law Student Program.
In her free time, Cat enjoys reading, hiking, surfing, and exploring California’s coastline. Her passion for ITN stems from her relationship with her beloved grandmother, and she enjoys the experience of meeting and assisting community members.
